Trust Sweet Iron loose ring snaffle
Bit, which is coated with Sweet Iron.
Through contact with (air) humidity,
this develops surface rust, which tastes sweet and naturally
stimulates saliva production. As a result, the
horse accepts the bit better and is encouraged to chew.
Due to this rust development (oxidation), the
blue colour of the TRUST bit changes to grey to brown.
When not in use for a temporary period, the
Sweet Iron bit will form a thin orange-brown rust layer on
the mouthpiece.
This can be easily removed with a damp cloth.
