Trust loose ring snaffle, single-jointed
This Trust bit is a single-jointed loose ring snaffle with a Sweet Iron coating.
Through contact with (air) moisture, this develops surface rust that tastes sweet and naturally stimulates salivation. This means the horse accepts the bit better and is encouraged to chew. Due to this rust development (oxidation), the blue colour of the TRUST bit changes to grey to brown.
The Sweet Iron bit will form a thin orange-brown layer of rust on the mouthpiece when not in use for a while.
This can be easily removed with a damp cloth.
