The "Ergonomic" bit series is anatomically adapted to the horse's mouth and tapers slightly inwards. The advantage is a more comfortable pressure distribution.
Sweet Iron is a material that emits a slightly sweet taste for the horse as soon as the mouthpiece comes into contact with saliva. The surface then begins to rust slightly, which also causes the horse to foam more and accept the bit better. For the double-jointed mouthpieces, we use copper inserts, which inherently have a sweeter taste, are softer, and therefore also warmer, so that the horse does not get a cold bit in its mouth.
Sweet iron mouthpieces may show signs of wear more quickly than stainless steel bits, as sweet iron is a surface coating that is significantly softer than other types of metal.
